Q: Is smoking allowed aboard your vehicles?

A: Saddle River Tours is dedicated to providing a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited by federal law on all motorcoaches.

Q: How close to schedule do the buses run?

A: We strive for on time performance and reliability while providing professional and courteous service. Occasionally there can be delays caused by traffic or weather. Please choose a bus schedule that permits ample time for unforeseen delays.

Q: Do I need a reservation to travel on your Atlantic City Line Run?

A: Reservations are not required on our routes.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: Details about acceptable forms of payment vary. For more information, call us at 973-777-1900.

Q: What is a bus rental and how much do they cost?

A: A bus rental is a temporary lease of our vehicle and driver. When a group wants to take a trip somewhere they will reserve a coach for the trip that they have planned. This is a bus rental. Bus rental prices depend on the mileage, destination, days of bus rental service, and coach usage. We invite you to submit a free quote request with no obligation. Renting a bus is generally a very economical mode of group travel.

Q: Where do you have authority to travel?

A: We have the authority to travel across the entire United States and Canada.

Q: What kind of vehicles are available for bus rental?

A: We operate a modern, clean, and meticulously maintained state-of-the-art fleet. 47-49 and 55-57 seat motorcoaches are available in all locations we serve. 24-30 seat Minibuses and Executive motorcoaches are also available.

Q: Who drives your vehicles?

A: We take tremendous pride in our professional drivers. They are specifically trained to drive the vehicle you have bus rentaled and must complete medical reviews, background checks, driving record checks, training and testing, drug and alcohol testing and attend mandatory safety meetings.

Q: How far ahead should I make arrangements?

A: It is never too soon to organize your bus rental. There are some times during the year when we are extremely busy, so book early! The weekends are usually the busiest with weddings, football games, holiday shopping, etc., so don't hesitate to book a year in advance.

Q: Where can I load my bus?

A: We can load your group anywhere that our vehicle can fit. Some residential streets are narrow, so please take that into consideration when planning your pick-up location. If you want to use a public parking lot, please call the manager of the establishment and get permission from them.

Q: How does tipping work?

A: Gratuity should be given when a customer recives extraordinary service. They are to be given at the customers' discretion. Drivers greatly appreciate their hard-earned gratuity. If you prefer to pre-pay your gratuity for your bus rental, arrangements may be made through your bus rental specialist.

Q: Are pets allowed on the bus?

A: Dogs, cats and other live animals are not permitted on any Saddle River Tours buses. However, a service animal, used for the purpose of accompanying a disabled person, will be permitted to travel with the disabled person at no additional charge. This animal must be under the control of its owner at all times and must ride in the customer’s space. The animal may not travel in the bus aisle or occupy a seat. Saddle River Tours reserves the right to refuse passage to any animal that poses a direct threat to the health and safety of other customers, Saddle River Tours personnel or contractors.

Q: Are there different Atlantic City line run rates for children?

A: When accompanied by an adult, children under three years of age not occupying a seat to the exclusion of other passengers may ride free. Children under three years of age occupying a seat to the exclusion of other passengers pay the regular adult fare.

Q: Do your coaches come equipped with DVD players?

A: Yes, most of our bus rental coaches come equipped with DVD players. We do have some coaches equipped with DVD/VHS combo players.

Q: Is there room to store luggage and other items?

A: Yes. Our bus rental coaches have three luggage bays, capable of storing luggage for the number of passengers the coach was built for.
